Got back from the Bahamas today. Spent some good quality time doing absolutly nothing but reading, playing the guitar, singing, lounging on the beach, looking for sand dollars, long walks and excellent fish dinners. I can't wait till I get that damn pilots liscence so I can take off when ever I want, with whomever I want and just....be
I leave back to Eckerd on Friday. I don't think its hit me yet that I'm going back for a whole nother year. So since I just forcefully hit myself with that little fact, tomorow starts the packing. Actually, its UN-packing. Thats right, all my 'winter' clothes and other clothes are still inside the garage in their containers. So tomorow I am having a laundry free-for-all!!!! I also need to pick up a bunch of random, so shopping will also be on the list.

It was early that morning you walked by Just for a moment You looked right into my eyes So welcome to my head Where I'll never know you at all You're like a record skippin' Over and over and over and over again I will never mean to hurt you But baby I can tell you this Just one kiss wouldn't be wouldn't be harmless So I could take my chances Start believin' in my own lies Get all wrapped up in you Everything I'm doin' here I'm doin' just to justify The insanity of my behavior This overwhelming need to be loved But the truth is I'm not even someone you're thinkin' of I will never mean to hurt you But baby I can tell you this Just one kiss wouldn't be wouldn't be harmless And why can't I just want the Love that I've already got Why can't I just stop when I know just one kiss wouldn't be harmless I know just one kiss I'm telling you baby wouldn't be harmless Yeah, early that morning you just walked by

Wow....I would like y'all's opinion on this matter.
My family has an amazing grandmother, everyone loves her. She is turning 80, so we are haveing a 300 person party in her honor at the Riviera Country Club. There was going to be a mass and then a lunch/cocktails. Sweet
Everyone knows this priest I am talking about. Everyone who graduated from Lourdes with me knows him. I won't say his name, but he definatly has said Mass for the grandparents (in both English and Spanish!) done Encounter, graduations, and many other things. He is also a teacher at Belen Jesuit. He is also a family member. Great man, amazing priest....great stories.
As a family member, he is saying Mass for my grandmother at the club at the day of the party. He asks permission (which is the right thing to do) from the ArchBishop of Miami to say Mass on Sunday at the Club. They turn him down saying it is a public place.
Could this be slight anger towards him and the whole Belen thing? For thoose who don't know, it is an archdiocese rule stating that you go to school where you go to church. I personally think you should be free to send your kid where ever you want! (ex: We are part of St. Augustine parish that has no school, so if we want to go to St. Teresa, or Epiphany of St. Thomas elementry schools, we would have to SWITCH our parish just to go to that catholic school) Belen is an all boys Jesuit school- it does not fall under the Archdiosece becasue its Jesuit, but at the same time that the Jesuits are different, they are very Catholic and have to obey the whole hierarcy Catholic thing. The Catholic church schools are upset because boys are leaving their pre-K-8th grade elemantry schools in 6th grade to go to Belen, instead of waitng to finish their elementry education at their chruch and go to the Archdiosece all-boys school of Columbus. So the priests at the elementry school are upset becasue they (they being Belen) are taking the boys away (and money, because you know its all linked to money) from their parish schools and going to Belen to get their education.
So, we have no priest, becasue he is not allowed to say Mass at a public place. Maybe its not that they are out to get him. Maybe I'm linking it all to him and the whole school problem. But this really is about the school. Should you not be alowed to go to school where ever you please? Are out simple freedoms and liberties being taken away not only by the governtment, but also our religious organizations?
What do you think?
Other than that rant, this weekend was pretty sweet. The last party of the summer was quite a sucess, if I do say so myself :)

Many thanks to my wonderful cousin Gaston who helped me clean up my computer. Not only did he clean it up, but he deleted nasty cookies (like SEX TRACKER -wtf?) taught me many things, gave me great programs and was wonderful company and great conversation while over Miami's Best Pizza :)
It was a fun night last night! Thanks Gaston!

Like I've said plenty of times, I need to start this up again. As it is, I missed real recaps of this first summer home from college because I hadn't really written it down anywhere. The parties, the talks, the job, and etc. Hmm, kinda want to start journaling again, but the old fashioned way - paper and pen.
Oh, and it's official. I'm ADDICTED to youtube.com It's bad.
Ask me my fav clips ;)

I need to get back to writing in this thing more often! I feel that I'm not remembering as much when I don't...but there's always so much stuff going on (at retrospect)
Went shopping for a friend's bday yesterday. I heard she had issues finding a place to throw a party, so I offered my house :) I bought a Slip and Slide! Im going to drench it with water and some bubble liquid formula to make it extra slippery :) AND, I bought a piniata. But not just any piniata, its a PIRATE SHIP piniata! Ok, I'm not that big of a fan of the whole Pirates of the Caribbean cult, but it looked wicked cool! And its one that you hit, so I think we should do it sober, just to be safe. EVen thought seeing some girls slightly tipsy, trying to hit a pirate ship has great potential to be hilarious! I can't wait till Saturday. I hope everyone is as excited as I am :)
Off to work.
Oh ya, happy 18th birthday to my sister (July 25) She'll be home on August 3, be prepared and wish her well on her special day!

If only it was true.
"If we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity." -John F. Kennedy
Had a great time this weekend, even though it marked my first vomiting experience from drinking. But I wasn't alone! Hooray for friends, music, drinking, dancing, and swimming! And strawberry daquiris by the pool, hammocks, and more music. I love living in such a beautiful part of the country where we get to enjoy the weather - even if we do take it for granted. Anyone, plans for the BBQ at my house some weekend? Call me, I'm ready, and better yet, my parents are ready to get scarce :)
And Katie, I'm up for sailing. Even though the weather says 'scattered t-storms' for the rest of the week and only a 9 mph easterly wind blowing. But we will still have fun - even if there is a chance we will get hit by lightning!! I will just leave work at 1 or 2 -ish. How does that sound?

Work has been pretty blah. At least I get paid. And I see the World Cup with a lot of passionate S. Americans. SO glad Portugal beat England! I love Ronaldo. And now I'm watching the France/Brazil game. I hate France, and I hope they lose. But its looking a little bleak right now...1-0 :(
Got a new radio installed into my new car. Got one that plays my iPod through the speakers directly, no more of this FM radio fuzz stuff. Thank god!
saw THE COOLEST thing today at Best Buy. Okk, its a DJ thing. So it has 2 audio inputs with its individual volume for each source. It also has a blender for the 2 sources so you can go from one song to another without a clear break. Well, its not 2 CDs or 2 turn tables, but the music is supplied by 2 iPods!!!! OMG! I WANT ONE!!
Come visit me this weekend. I have a suite at the Ritz on the Key for the whole long weekend (including the 4th night) Call me!

I think this weekend's fun was some of the best fun I've had in a while! We must repeat :)
Went running this morning...for 20 minutes, but I think its going to be ugly when I have to lean over a filing cabinet while my legs are sore :(
www.yourtube.com is so cool. Has everything you can ever ask for. I love TV recaps or music videos for TV couples, and I LOVE LUCY! Check out Ronaldihno's "touch of gold' Nike commericail :D
Nick came over and finally tuned my drums...with a wrentch. But that's ok, they sound so much better now!! Thanks!

Ok, so it's my grandmothers 80th birthday in August and we are throwing her a big birthday bash, because my crazy grandmother won't have it any other way. So she wants me to play the cello or sing or something.... I called my cousin Mike who plays piano and ask him to learn the accompl. to Schuberts Ave Maria so I can do a cello solo. Of course, we need to get a keyboard and an amp. They don't like this idea because they don't want to go about finding one. It's like every time I do something with music, they see it as a burden. They always tell me to be quiet or something. And I really don't like it. I mean, I know I'm not AWESOME at singing, or playing the cello. But I sure try and improve. And that goes for the guitar and drums. But I feel like I have done so much in middle/highschool and now I have nothing except my own house with all the instruments and they don't want to hear it. I don't know why, but it makes me want to cry.

Seeing that previous plans were cancelled last minute, I stayed in. Made some of my cookies for my grandfather and godfather because we're going to see them tomorow at lunch. My parents went to a party, so I took the nice quiet time to play the drums, very loudly, and in my underwear (nice visual, huh?) I love playing to AC/DC, well I love them - nothing better than sex, drugs, alcohol, and rock 'n' roll. "MADE A MEAL OUT OF ME, HAD ME COMING BACK FOR MORE, SEE THE WALLS WERE SHAKING, MY MIND WAS RACING, WE WERE MAKING LOVE, YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG, YA YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG!"

My official first week of work is now over. I can cross of ANY type of office work off my checklist of things to do/NOT have as a carreer.
I have boughten a lot of stuff on the net the last couple of days. I have 7 packages that are on its way to me. I bought 2 books for trumpet (each for 0.25 at half.com) and then 3 used CDs on the same site. My trumpet should be coming too. And I also bought a new cell phone because a) my phone SUCKS on reception, battery life b) i don't like this whole flip phone thing c) my dad said he would buy me a new one lol Hopefully it will get here soon.
Been watching a lot of the World Cup action the last couple of days. The US need some serious help, but an autogoal mistake by the Italians have kept us in it. Barely.
Tonight is another night stayed in. Hopefully I will learn 2 new songs on the guitar, thats the goal. Come and stop by and say hi!

So got back from my trip to Ireland and NY. Had a really good time. NY was fun, even though I was sick. Ireland was really pretty, and we stayed in some kick ass Bed&Breakfast places and ate really really really good. More about that later.
Started working at my dad's office as of Monday. I'm tired. A bit sick. And have filed about 98% of Merrill Lynch's files away, as well as me life. I am working 9-5, 5 days a week for the next 10 weeks and 3 days. I must be revived on the weekend, so contact me! PLEASE!
I wasn't here for the first 2 HEAT games, but saw most of the last nights. I unfortunatly, am very tired because of the work and blah blah blah. But I heard it was incredible!!! congrats HEAT!!!!! My cousin Gaby came over to watch the game with me and she tells me, "guess who sat next to Usher and Jermaine Dupri last Heat game!?!" And I was like....who? She says "Monseigneur and Sister Margerat!" As in the priest and principle at Epiphany. Pat Riley gave them floor tickets.....what the heck!?!??
Oh, and I bought the most beautifulest, shiniest TRUMPET! I'm going to atempt to teach myself it. Anyone know of any good brass beginers books? I know how to read music already (duh) so I need like a technique kinda book, like how to hold it, not the ones they give the 5th graders at Westmister when they first start. I'm not sure that exsists. Your help is apreciated.
